Dear all,

This is our second chosen topic, you chose a very broad topic, and I remember telling you about the freedom you will have for this particular post.
I will personally talk about some of my favorite ways in which art expresses itself.

First, Poetry: I believe words are very powerful, and arranging them into beutiful descriptions of reality is something I enjoy observing. I would say it is the ability of saying things in a way that not only says what words say, but also suggests a deeper meaning, as if it was something that requires you to have a second look to fully appreciate it. 

Second, Music:

Not only because of melodies and armonies, also because is a way of giving poetry a different type of road to go by. I really appreciate great musicians, people who are able to sing the exact words that describe feelings and emotions many of us have felt. 

For me, music is many things. I really love listening to it, and I even like singing.
I believe I can sing, even though I'm clearly not a talented singer. In my opinion, singing has to do with emotions, and not only techniques and voice. So maybe everyone could be a singer, if they found a song they could truly sing from their hearts.

Now, from the listener point of view, I think music nowadays has been corrupted by the market,  I mean, the music industry. Most of nowadays musicians seem to sing in a very shallow way, and the styles and lyrics that are on fashion these days, are not very good IMO.

My favorite music styles are rock, reggae and hip hop, but I do enjoy lots of different styles and artists. For a long time now, I've been listening to Sublime almost every day. Have you heard this band before?

So that's it, now that I proofread my post I realize I didn't mention any visual expressions, I do love paintings and sculpture, but I'm more of an observer than a creator haha. Finally I would add memes to the art category, you can find real jewels online these days.
